S5 Systems, a developer of wireless application infrastructure products and technologies, and Cellmania the leading provider of wireless applications provisioning solution for carriers , today announced that the two organizations have entered into a strategic agreement to bundle their offerings to provide a full-scale provisioning and publishing solution.

Under the terms of the agreement the parties will work together to integrate their technologies and collaborate in mutual business development. S5 and Cellmania will co-market the resulting joint solution as an end-to-end solution for wireless content including Java applications aggregation, management, and deployment for wireless carriers, device manufacturers, and mobile portal operators.

Cellmania will use S5 Systems J2ME technologies to enhance the Cellmania mFinder to build richer application storefronts for carriers. These technologies include J2ME application to device matching, application optimization and Try-n-buy technologies.

S5 Systems will use Cellmania's wireless application provisioning expertise and content to enrich their SWAP platform. Cellmania has a long time relationship with content developers and has the largest database of wireless certified including over 40,000 SMS, WAP and Java applications.
