Ottawa,
Ontario. – May 22, 2002
Improve download times and improve security of the J2ME applications.
Application deployment servers can now gain more control over
the applications that are allowed to be deployed. IDE developers
can now use jPresse to provide Java optimization to J2ME applications
developers. S5 Systems Inc today announced the release of
the release of jPresse 1.0. jPresse is an obfuscation, reduction
and image optimization technology that allows MIDP/CLDC application
developers to reduce the size and improve the security of
their J2ME applications. jPresse™ technology is available
in Java and C SDKs and is available for integration with provisioning
servers, IDEs and other applications written in Java, C/C++.
“jPresse is the industries first and
only combination of obfuscation, reduction and image optimization
in one offering. Tests showed that S5Systems’ Java
reduction and obfuscation provides the industries best performance
and with addition of powerful image optimization technologies
it beats any competitors products hands down,” said
Sanjay Chadha CEO of S5 Systems.
The current release of the jPresse technology
follows availability of the jPresto tool in the beta, which
was announced in March 2002. We received an overwhelming
response to our beta. The release version of jPresse includes
changes from feedback from the beta and includes new image
optimization technologies.
